Video contest winner

Back in February we announced a video contest and we received well over 100 entries in just a short time. Festool employees were tasked with casting votes on their favorite video submissions to narrow it down to a "Top 5" list. Those top five videos were then played at our Festool Connect event at JLC Live in Providence, RI, where attendees voted for the winner.

Projects by You

Maybe you remember in our last email newsletter that we noted a mid-1950s Festo Chain Mortiser in one of our customer's testimonial video. Well, when we saw a video posted on YouTube by our colleagues in Lithuania, we realized it was just too cool not to share with you.

You may know that one of Festool's (previously known as Festo) claims to fame is the invention of the world's first gas-powered portable chainsaw in 1925. In this two minute video, we see one of those antique Festo chainsaws brought back to life as it cranks up and then cuts through some timber. Please always wear proper safety equipment and operate your power tools per the manufacturer's instructions.
