Festool provides tools for the smartSHOP in the WorldSkills competition at AWFS 2011.
WorldSkills is an international career technical education training organization. Students from countries around the world compete for gold medals and recognition in their field of training. The Qualifying Trial held at AWFS determined who will compete in WorldSkills Leipzig (Germany) in 2013. The finalists competed for three days during the AWFS Fair while show attendees watched the students build projects showcasing their cabinet construction and woodworking skills. The intent was to increase awareness of SkillsUSA and emphasize the importance of skilled trades to the future of the industry.
