Festool USA Suspends Direct Product Sales

For nearly ten years, Festool has been selling tools directly to the public in the U.S.  Now that we have developed a strong and capable dealer base across the country, we have made the decision to stop selling in this manner, effective April 1, 2008.  We feel confident that our dealer network will be able to provide the high quality service that you have come to expect from us, and that you will be quite satisfied doing business with the Festool dealer of your choice.  A complete listing of these dealers may be found on our website at http://www.festoolusa.com.

We are planning in the near future to offer an option to shop online at the Festool USA website and check out through your preferred dealer's website. There will be more information regarding this new purchasing option as we near its launch.

We will continue to offer spare parts and repair service to our customers directly to guarantee our commitment to provide the best service in the industry.

Warranty Policy Change

Effective immediately, the warranty for Festool products is not limited to the original purchaser. The warranty period starts once the tool is sold from Festool or a Festool dealer and ends after 3 years, independent of who owns the tool. Anyone who has purchased a used Festool within the previous three years will be covered.

New warranty cards and the 2008 Festool Catalog will reflect the warranty text below when printed.

"Festool warrants that the specified tool will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a term of 3 years from the date of purchase."
