Trim Router Review September 2008

The MFK is equipped with a threaded insert to accept standard screw-together style template guides (guide bushings). With over 5 inches (130 mm) of base support from the center of the bit to the furthest edge, the MFK 700 is well suited for those routing tasks that smaller based routers teeter and fumble on such as trimming laminate. With two hand-hold positions the MFK can easily maneuver a variety of contours and with the large hand knob farthest away from the cutter keeping the router firmly planted on a surface while edge routing is comfortable and controllable.
