The versatility to tackle any task with accuracy and ease.

While not a common task, did you know that your Festool TS 75 is capable of cutting stainless steel up to 1/8" in thickness? Be sure to select the appropriate blade for the material you are cutting. Festool offers a wide selection of blades that are designed to cut specific materials. In this case, the 36-tooth metal-cutting blade (495384) was used.

Another important factor in making great cuts is being able to select the correct blade speed. The TS series of plunge cuts saws include variable-speed control as a standard feature. You'll find that the blades and saw share a color-coded system that helps you easily identify and select the speed that's appropriate for the material and blade combination. To learn more about this color-coding system, read our article entitled "What your Festool is trying to tell you".

If you are going to use a Festool CT dust extractor when cutting metals, be sure to employ the Spark Trap accessory (484733) which is designed to arrest hot metal filings and prevent them from entering the dust extractor which could cause a fire.

Always remember to use appropriate safety equipment and precautions.

Just one more way that Festool helps you work Faster, Easier, Smarter.
