Paul Marcel RO 90 Review

Paul-Marcel, a member of the Festool Owners Group Forum, has demonstrated a real knack for video reviews of tools which are not only informative but also entertaining, if not comical at moments. This month, Paul-Marcel was kind enough to share his experiences with the new Rotex RO 90 DX Multi-mode Sander after putting it to good use for a couple of weeks.

Be sure to swing by Paul-Marcel's blog, Half-Inch Shy, and check out all of the useful information including reviews of many, many more Festool power tools.

We would also encourage you to check out the review of the RO 90 DX by Greg Paolini, nationally recognized woodworker, author, and woodworking instructor. Greg also had a chance to evaluate the newest addition to Festool's abrasive line up, called Granat.

Here's a short excerpt from Greg's review of the RO 90 and Granat abrasives...

After using it for a few weeks, the Festool RO90 has proved itself in my shop.  It saves me time and money, because I spend less of each switching sanding disks for different grits, and the Granat disks just last so much longer, which means I'll buy a lot less sandpaper.  The RO 90's compact size let's me easily get into places that were once reserved for hand sanding.  And the multi mode versatility of the RO90 literally makes it 3 tools in one.  The RO90 give me plenty of power, finesse, and adaptability, all with virtually no dust!

Read the rest of Greg's review of the RO 90 DX online at the Festool Power Tool Blog. A special thanks to Paul-Marcel and Greg for sharing their experiences with this mighty, versatile sander.

Lastly, if you missed it in last month's email newsletter, you can also check out a review of the RO 90 DX sander by Cliff, the Wood Nerd.
